Hardware Warranty

90-Day Limited Hardware Warranty

PlayFast Motion, operated by Play Fast Motion LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), warrants to the original purchaser that the PlayFast Motion sensor device (“Device”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of delivery to you. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase may be required to make a claim.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers manufacturing and material defects that prevent the Device from functioning as intended (e.g., failure to power on, pair via Bluetooth, or count throws under normal use).

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or accident
  • Water or moisture damage
  • Modifications or repairs by anyone other than PlayFast Motion
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
  • Lost or stolen Devices
  • Devices purchased from an unauthorized reseller, or counterfeit Devices
  • Software, firmware, or the connected app and Service (covered separately by our Terms of Service)

Your Remedy

If you have a valid warranty claim, we will, at our option, either (a) repair the Device, (b) replace the Device with a new or refurbished unit, or (c) refund the purchase price of the Device. This is your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability under this warranty will not exceed the purchase price you paid for the Device, and we will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

How to Make a Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact us at support@playfastlax.com with your order or account information and a description of the defect. We may require you to return the Device for inspection. If we provide a return shipping label for a valid warranty claim, we will cover the cost of return shipping. See our Return and Refund Policy for more details.

No Other Warranties

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY WE PROVIDE FOR THE DEVICE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 90-DAY WARRANTY PERIOD. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
